Interpretation/Length Summary of JYP’s Twitter Post being his Passage provided at the excursion:
“And by the will of Jesus Christ, we have become holy through the sacrifice of the body of him.”
He is very earnest in wanting to understand who created the earth, and why did Jesus Christ have to die on the Cross for our sins. He is on the quest of finding and understanding what God meant and what Biblical texts mean. He is also known to have said, that because of studying the Bible, the word of God he began to do changes in his life, and the people around him also changed because of it.
JY Park is a deep seeker, and he has so many questions about the character of Jesus Christ in the Bible. He spent so much time reading the Bible, understanding the Bible and trying to teach the Bible, but he did confess that there are times he doubted that Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for us, but he is praying that God will give him a heart that believes in Jesus Christ before he dies.
JY Park posted these Biblical verses
- After faith has come – Galatians 3:25
- Eyes of understanding being enlightened – Ephesians 1:18
- He opened their understanding – Luke 24:45
- The Lord opened her heart – Acts 16:14
- Through faith which is in Jesus Christ – Timothy 3:15
JYP then begins to quote several passages from the Bible:
- Luke 24:32
- Isaiah 12:1
- Acts 8:36
- Corinthians 2 13:5
He said that he is afraid that he will be judged by God, so he wanted to dig deeper and learn more. A quest for wisdom, his prayer is for God to give him strong faith, even as small as a mustard seed because nothing is impossible then should that faith grow in him.

Jesus Christ Our Savior
“This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:12-13)
His Name “Jesus” Means Saviour
The Bible says, “Behold the kindness and the severity of God” (Romans 11:22)… God’s severity and perfect justice cannot tolerate any sin and demands punishment. But God’s kindness (or grace) accepts the punishment of Christ instead of our own. It is in this sense that Jesus is our “Saviour”.
God’s acceptance of Christ’s punishment on the cross as a substitute for our eternal punishment, is called not only “salvation”, but also “justification, sanctification, and redemption” (1Corinthians 1:30).
